Hi All, Welcome to the home of 2/3C. As we all know the C stands for Champions. We always strive to be the best at everything and set ourselves very high standards. There are 20 students in our class. We have 8 girls and 12 boys who are split into 11 year 2 students and 9 year 3 students. Our teacher is Mr Cridland. He is big and ugly and is mean all the time. Lucky we are so smart that he has nothing to yell at us about. We work hard in all areas of school. At the moment we are working very hard on our proof reading, spelling and setting out our work. We are beginning to work on addition using 2 digit (year 2) and 3 digit (year 3) numbers. In English we have had a real focus on capital letters, full stops, and spelling. Handwriting is also something we are working hard on so we can write neater than our principal Mr Sharkey. In HSIE we are completing a unit called "Families Past and Present" which deals with how families change over time in our society. We do Creative Arts and Sport with Miss Harris on Fridays. In week 4 of term 2 our year 3 students will participate in NAPLAN for the first time. We know they will be great. We are 2/3C. C stands for Champions because that's what we are! |
