Creative Writing Award
 
 
     This Award is for a child in Years 3, 4, 5 or 6
 
    The child needs to demonstrate some or all of the following:
 
  • Consistent effort in classroom writing
  • Sound skills in punctuation and grammar
  • Evidence of imaginative ideas
  • Neatness and pride in presentation
  • Participation in external competitions
  • Prizes or awards won.
    Judging:
 
  • Teachers nominate a class member who meets some or all criteria
  • Samples of work presented plus a short statement by teacher of extra achievements or awards
  • Winner is chosen by consensus of staff.
  • Principal or Assistant Principal to determine outcome if consensus is not reached
 
Award is currently presented and provided by Mrs. Bambach (if available).
